Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!

Our project combines breaking isolation and creating connection with making sure everyone has access to healthy and nutritious food.

Every second Monday we host Monday Soup for our friends, neighbours, new acquaintances, and extended community. The concept is simple: giant pot of soup with a side of bread, drop in anytime 6:30pm-9:30pm.

We've been hosting Monday Soup on and off for over 15 years. Sometimes 1 person shows up, sometimes 30.
This is the first year we turn it into a fundraiser and ask our friends to donate to the food bank with every bowl of soup. We were so touched by our friends' Richard & Gillian's annual Christmas Party fundraiser (they've been going for 25 years and have raised over $800,000!!). Learning about the staggering increase in people who access the foodbank, we have decided to join the cause.

Or, try on hosting your own soup )just once or a regular schedule)! Pick a day and time, invite your friends, serve some delicious home made soup and enjoy a casual and connected evening while making a difference.

Our donations will support children, families, seniors, individuals who have lost their jobs, and anyone who just needs a little bit of help.
