Hi everyone,
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, a Virtual Food Drive in support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB)!
Every Halloween, people go door to door collecting candy, but this year I wanted to try something different. Instead of trick-or-treating, I’m trick-or-feeding, raising money for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank to help those in need.
I spent time with my dad building an awesome Terminator themed costume, and we thought it deserved more than just candy. It deserved a purpose. So we decided to terminate hunger!
I'm super excited about the work the GVFB is doing; providing healthy food to those in need. Our donations will support children, families, seniors, individuals who have lost their jobs, and anyone who just needs a little bit of help.
Seeing how real the need is makes this even more important. In March 2025, there were 2.2 million food bank visits across Canada, a 5% increase from the same time last year and more than double the number of visits in 2019.Food banks are struggling to meet that growing demand, and every dollar makes a real difference.
