Welcome to PWs Virtual Food Drive for the CANley Cup
Were proud to support the incredible work of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB), which provides nutritious food to children, families, seniors, and individuals facing tough times. Every dollar donated helps ensure that no one in our community goes hungry and thanks to GVFBs 2:1 buying power, your contribution goes twice as far.
The CANley Cup Challenge Is On
At PW, giving back is a proud tradition and we like to have a little fun while we do it. Each year, our 1-1 classes (first block of the day) compete for the coveted PW CANley Cup, awarded to the class that raises the most funds. The winning class also earns a well-deserved pizza party.
PW also joins forces with other schools across the district in a friendly competition for the VDSC CANley Cup, awarded to the top school overall. Despite our small size, PW has proudly placed third in the district for the past few years a testament to our community spirit, and we're aiming high again this year.
Why It Matters
While the competition adds excitement, the heart of this campaign is about helping families in need. Your generosity supports people across Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, and the North Shore, and every donation makes a real difference.
How to Donate
To make sure your donation counts toward your child's class total:
- Choose your donation amount and click Donate.
- Scroll to the bottom of the pop-up window.
- Select Use recognition name.
- In the box, enter your childs 1-1 teachers name along with your family name. Example: "McDonald John's Family" or simply "McDonald" if you prefer to remain anonymous.
Deadline: Friday, December 12 don't miss your chance to contribute.
