As you know, your interest, caring and funds make a significant difference to many, many people you may never meet.  I can tell you that when we go and visit the good folks at the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, they treat us like long lost friends/super stars!  All we do is throw a really, really good party and ask you to give some money to those less fortunate.  The impact is immeasurable except we know that your generosity contributes to a senior, a single mum or dad, a family… keeping their dignity intact as they shop for food they cannot afford which strengthens their faith and trust in humanity.
