4. What about regular food donations?

GVFB collects more than five million pounds of food and thousands of dollars each year through community food and fund drives sponsored by individuals, corporations, clubs, schools and associations. Food drives supply nonperishable items that are greatly needed by our partner agencies. Contributing money instead of food allows the Food Bank to purchase fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables as well as other high quality foods such as eggs and milk. Regardless of which method one chooses, these drives make an incredible difference for struggling families throughout the communities we serve.
