We hope that you are all doing well this holiday season.
This holiday season, we have a request of you all. We often get thoughtful gifts from our patients during the holidays like fruit or chocolates. If you were thinking of giving us a small gift this year, we are hoping that you might give the equivalent amount to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank in the name of Forward Care Medical.
We all know that many people are struggling financially this year. And we know from our conversations with patients that some are struggling with buying food.
We want to acknowledge that not everyone has the ability to give money this season. Please make the decision about whether or not to give to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank in a way that is best for you and your family and your health.
When you give money to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank online, you will receive a tax receipt. And giving money to a food bank is so much better than giving food items, since the food bank is able to stretch money more than they can food items when they are trying to meet as much need as possible.
