The Greater Vancouver Food Bank is a non-profit organization with a mission to empower people to nourish themselves by providing access to healthy and nutritious food to those in need.
The GVFB provides assistance to 15,000 people monthly and to 150 and community and provincial agencies located in Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and North Vancouver. The GVFB is committed to its vision of accessible, healthy and sustainable food for all and through community collaboration, is pro-actively working to help end hunger.
Recently I signed up to host a Virtual Food Drive in support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB). I'm super excited about the work the GVFB is doing; providing healthy food to those in need. Our donations will support children, families, seniors, individuals who have lost their jobs, and anyone who just needs a little bit of help.
