NOTE TO STUDENTS/STAFF -- The week of Dec. 2 - 6, if you come to the school store and show us your donation receipt with your (parent) name and confirmation number, you can pick-up candygram(s) to send to a friend. $1 = 1 candygram to send. Please bring your recipient timetable info, to ensure successful delivery the final week before winter break.
VSB Student Councils are encouraging support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB) this holiday season. Donations will support children, families, seniors, individuals who have lost their jobs, and anyone who just needs a little bit of help across Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and the North Shore.
Windermere StuCo used to collect non-perishable food donations in the past, but we've since switched over to promoting cash/online donations because for every $1 donated, the Greater Vancouver Food Bank can double the value with their purchasing power.
Online donations are also tax-deductible. Adults -- please check your email inbox or spam folder for an automated tax receipt once your donation is successfully processed.
